[TEXAS] ELA – 2nd Grade – 1st Semester

GHO National Academy combines the best of live instruction and independent learning. Students participate in engaging live classes via Zoom each morning*, led by Great Hearts’ exceptional teachers. Afternoons are dedicated to independent coursework, allowing students to work at their own pace while mastering the curriculum. Teachers are available for tutoring and office hours, providing personalized support to ensure every student thrives. This flexible and supportive model empowers families to enjoy a high-quality classical education tailored to their needs.

• Instruction*:  Course content delivered via instructional videos and self-paced asynchronous, independent assignments and activities. Courses include faculty support with access to office hours, answers to questions, and assignment feedback and grades.
• Independent Assignments:  Scholars complete assignments sequentially. Grades and feedback provided as assignments are submitted.
• Exempt from: State exams, attendance sheets, and stringent schedules.

*Note: Some courses are only available asynchronously. Asynchronous courses do not require students to participate in a scheduled live Zoom class, but independently via pre-recorded teacher-instructional videos.
