Description

Algebra II/Trig. is a comprehensive course that builds on the concepts learned in Algebra I. In this course, students will explore a wide range of topics, including solving and graphing equations and inequalities, working with polynomials, rational expressions, and quadratic functions, and studying exponential and logarithmic functions. The course also covers systems of equations, complex numbers, and introductory trigonometry. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and understanding the relationships between algebraic concepts. This course lays the foundation for higher-level math courses, such as Precalculus and Calculus, and provides important skills for real-world applications. Please be aware that the pace is extremely fast, as the 4 weeks of instruction are intended to replace an entire regular school year’s work. Students can expect to have about 2-3 hours of homework each day, as well as multiple tests per week.
