Great Hearts Online Summer School is open to all current and incoming Great Hearts students. All summer courses include daily, live video instruction M-Th, weekly tutoring opportunities, and access to our Great Hearts curriculum using the online learning platform, Canvas.
This course will begin on June 3rd and run through June 30th, during Session 2 (1 Hour) (1:00-2:00). You can view the session schedule HERE. Please note that all times are listed in Arizona Local Time.

This course is designed to strengthen essential arithmetic skills and prepare scholars for the increased rigor of fourth-grade mathematics. Students will develop fluency in multiplication and division through memorization and regular practice, building a strong foundation for more complex problem-solving. Scholars will learn to add and subtract fractions and apply the four operations to solve two-step word problems with clarity and confidence. The course also introduces key measurement concepts, including area and perimeter, and provides practice with adding and subtracting time and money. Emphasis is placed on accuracy, logical thinking, and perseverance as students develop the mathematical habits needed for success in fourth grade.
