Great Hearts Online Summer School is open to all current and incoming Great Hearts students. All summer courses include daily, live video instruction M-Th, weekly tutoring opportunities, and access to our Great Hearts curriculum using the online learning platform, Canvas.
This course will begin on June 3rd and run through June 30th, during Session 1 (1 Hour) (9:30-10:30). You can view the session schedule HERE. Please note that all times are listed in Arizona Local Time.
Please Note: Once you complete your order, you will receive an email with your receipt and instructions to complete registration through the Jupiter Ed portal. Registration is not complete until you receive confirmation that both payment and the application are complete.

Attendance Policy
This summer school course is designed to strengthen essential reading, grammar, and writing skills for scholars completing fourth grade and preparing to enter fifth grade. Students will practice reading and comprehending grade-level passages with accuracy and fluency, building confidence and stamina as readers. Through direct instruction and guided practice, scholars will analyze and diagram parts of speech and sentence structures, including nouns, verbs, prepositions, direct and indirect objects, and conjunctions. In writing, students will learn to organize ideas by creating outlines and composing three well-structured paragraphs that include complex sentences and appropriate transitional words. The course reinforces foundational skills and prepares scholars for the academic expectations of fifth grade.
