Our curriculum is rigorous and requires time and effort in order to receive the richness of a classical education. The chart below outlines the amount of time a scholar can expect to spend doing schoolwork by grade level. Learning Facilitators (guardian supporting the child in the home) should guide the student with assignment expectations, staying on task, and ensuring work is uploaded in a timely manner.
*** Please remember a traditional school generally lasts 6-7 hours not including homework time. Although this is based on the Teacher-Led, Live Instruction model, students choosing the Flexible Week model will also need to spend a similar amount of time watching the videos and completing the assignments.
