Math – 1st Grade – 2nd Semester


Build on foundational math concepts by exploring numbers up to 120 using concrete and pictorial representations, investigating number relationships, employing various addition and subtraction strategies, and beginning to grasp abstract mathematical concepts, while also delving into early measurement skills, geometry, and data representation.

  • Instruction:  Course content delivered via instructional videos and self-paced asynchronous, independent assignments and activities. Courses include faculty support with access to office hours, answers to questions, and assignment feedback and grades.
  • Independent Assignments:  Scholars complete assignments sequentially. Grades and feedback provided as assignments are submitted.
  • Exempt from: State exams, attendance sheets, and stringent schedules.
